I shot this video using my new Canon Vixia HF S11 and i used Night Scene Mode with 30PF, shutter speed 1/60, Dynamic stablization turned ON and i used Sony Vegas Pro 8 for editing. Entire video was shot from inside the car while driving, no tripod used and stabilization has really worked fine for me. Video is a bit grainy under no light conditions and i think its normal.

  • I shot this video in my neighbourhood in Atlanta, GA. I would like to add one more thing, HF S11 offers much easier handling and portability compared to other DSLR's.

  • Thanks for your kind words, this camcorder is really good and in good hands it has the capacity to deliver professional results under any situation. I have a Canon 7D as well with good number of prime and L lenses and i dont think we can compare this camcorder with such big sensor cameras like 5D MKII or 7D, these DSLR have quite big sensors which delivers awesome low light quality with manual ISO and other control settings, Also you would need 35mm adaptors to achieve shallow DOF on HF S11.

  • just awesome!!

  • @ssingh72 i forgot... this only happen in low light with Default Settings...

  • @ssingh72 last question bro, when i want record water or any other white thing, my camcorder record white colors like blue colors, thats normal?? or there is a problem, of course i can edit with White Balance, but everything change... xD

    Thx again
