Keep up to date with what is happening on my twitter account: http://twitter.com/GopherGaming

A lot of this video was shot in darkness and the rendering process often made such scenes too dark in video. So I had to brighten those scenes a little just for the video to try and approximate what I actually saw when in game. Keep that in mind and try the different settings to see how they look to you in game yourself.

Mods covered in this video:
1. RWT Realistic Water Textures : http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=711

2. Realistic Lighting Without Post-Processing : http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4323

The music playing is the Sons of Skyrim from the official trailer.

  • Rivervale? >.>

  • @LynxCoding I assume you don't have annotations turned on. Turn them on :)

  • The darkness mod is actually the one unrealistic, starlight and moonshine produces quite a bit of light, not as much as in vanilla, but not as little. Therefore the "lighter" darker nights option is the more realistic.

  • @HardWarUK Yeah the lighter setting is now actually default in the new versions of the mod.

  • I never noticed how terrible the default look of water really was!! I need that water mod !

  • @GosphersVids hey thanks for the great videos, i was just wondering with Realistic Lighting, how do you turn it off for interiors? i tried looking at the Ini file and the readme but it made no sense to me, thanks in advance!

  • @GophersVids Yes. Also, The Deadly Dragon mod has a weaker level one Dragon now for low level players. Nice that modders listen to their customers! :)

  • @PoisonSwarm he has it Favorited and bound to a key

@all The RL mod is now edited as a config instead of further (or optional) esp's. The config folder is in the Data folder of skyrim. (vid is out of date now) also the RLW also takes a bit more config or it doesn't work right. (have to change the water text size manually)

  • What if a mod made NPCs respond to indirect lightsources as if they HEARD them, like they produce a sound instead of visual light. imagine that guy staring at thetable turning aroundsaying "huh,. what was that?" and then sees you and attacks instead of doing nothing. Possibly much more reallistic.

  • How did you bring up your torch quickly without going into the inventory?
