Today, Congressman Griffith of Alabama's 5th District announced that he is switching parties to become a Republican. While Griffith's party affiliation may have changed, his conservative values and commitment to his constituents has not wavered. His opposition to the Democrats wasteful stimulus bill, the job killing National Energy Tax, and government takeover of healthcare make him our welcome ally in stopping Nancy Pelosi.

It's pretty simple, this "Liberal Extremist" campaign ad took McCain's answer completely out of context in order to make him appear as a "war mongerer". The truth was - and still is - as evidenced by Obama's 'change' in attitude regarding "complete withdrawal by the end of '09" as one of his MAIN campaign promises - that you can't just jump off the merry-go-round just because a different set of guardians show up to supervise. Obama is one more broken promise closer to keeping this to one term.

And whats wrong with his statement? The truth seems to bother people. You people do know we are still in Japan, and Germany sense WW11 and still in Korea sence the Korean war. It's part of keeping America safe. Sorry folks, but we will always have troops in Iraq.

I love how Democrats act like none of their presidents have ever sent our military to war. All you have to do is open a history book.

It is Obama's fault. Don't you dare tell me he inherited this crisis. We all heard this so many times before, but you know what that's not leadership to blame you predecessor. Obama is supposed to possess qualities of leadership. A good start would give our fighting men overseas an idea of what they should be doing. Why is there no exit strategy? Does Obama ever intend to bring our troops home or was that yet another lie he told to get elected?
