VideoArt - Just a Migrant Dream - Tunisia - 2004-2009

A creation made during 5 years somewhere in Europe. Between 2004-2009, Just A Migrant Dream, its a view from bus and train travels. Ziad-Helmi Zitoun in this new Project try to create an aesthetic of migrant life .Abstraction of sensations and remembers of a people in movement.

For migrant people who are outside of Schengen Agreement area, crossing a border its an important moment. Its an instant for individuals hopes that can give a chance to have got a better life, a better future. Just A Migrant Dream, its linear travel of a body in translation. A personal contemplation of the act of moving.

Ziad Zitoun is visual artist who works in video art, installations and digital arts. Starts his Video artworks in 2004 with Across my border, China beat documents. Following his experimentations with a video dance show named Nebula.000. In 2008 he started to develop digital-art pictures and installations with visual art perspectives.
