Here is a brand new Hallowe'en song called Love at First Bite. It was written this past summer by Sarah, of the Four Quarters, and her Dad, Kevin. It was done by request, for Ed Engel, who has put it on Crystal Ball Records' annual Hallowe'en CD. The actual CD version has a couple of cool little effects to go with the song. Also, on the back of the CD there is a great photo of the girls in Hallowe'en costume, being menaced by a fearsome looking wolf. The CD is now for sale on the Crystal Ball Records site. Thanks to Ed for all his support! (no, he's not the wolf).

  • I think you are right about the cartoon potential for this one. I suspect that eventually some comedy movie or television show with a Halloween theme will want to use the song. I I thought it interesting you mentioned Disney. The story of this group would make a great Disney "made-for-TV" movie. When they finished high and should have ended it, they were being chased by a songwriter and a record label, not to mention international fans who had discovered them. They continue to sing!.

  • Well done ladies. Please take what I'm about to say as a compliment. I grew up with numerous cartoons that were basically the precursor of today's music videos. This song would be PERFECT for something that Disney Studios or Ub Iwerks would produce! If you know anybody who is talented at animation, find that individual and have this song made into a retro looking cartoon!

From my wife and I to you lovely ladies: have a blessed 2011 and keep up the great work!

  • @CharismanNr2 Lindsay is a soprano with some serious low range. When they needed a really powerful low voice, they put her on the 2nd alto/bass part. If you listen to Simple Gifts (Labeled "The Four Quarters") you will hear someone hit an extremely high note near the end--it's Lindsay. She can sing 1st soprano, 2nd alto or either of the parts in between. Because of that, the other 3 end up switching between 2 or more parts. I think it has made them better singers.

  • didnt lindsay use to be the bass? her voice is powerful

  • i would absolutely LOVEE to get some music for this.. amazingg girls!!
