@ignite19 every time someone gets hit it has potential to be career ending lol these are professionals i hope they can take a clean hit. You dont put your hip into someones knees lol. If you look at that and dont say wow he was low right at the knees then you are a moron.

@ignite19 you must be drunk, i am all for big hits and hip checks, some of the best hit are hip check, but that was around the knees, that could have been career ending had in been just a little lower, came very close to being right on the button too. (knee)

Theres something wrong with it when it's illegal now. This hit was clearly too low for today's rules.

no doubt about it you had to be tough to play hockey 20-30+ years ago, but if you let players the size these guys are today go at it like the old timers, you wouldnt have stars playing more then 5 years.
even with rule changes hockey is still a physical game. im all for sacrificing some physicality to watch some of my favorite players stick around the league longer.

i was there that night, it was an illegal hit it was way too low. and Dorsette is a pussy he had to go back to the locker room and scuderi was fined and im sure dorsette was too it was insane.
