KaBar KBD1: Fight for Less

Lots of blade for the money... that's one of my favorite things. And, like I say in the video, most of my blades are well under $100. That's because all of my blade NEEDS can be met with such quality, high value blades as this one. Nicely shaped, this KBD1 blade could serve nicely in the fighting role with equal slash and piercing capabilities. Sharpening the upper clip, if legal in your area, will improve its effectiveness but isn't necessary. Coupled with a decent NS 1095 steel and a good sheath, the KBD1 is definitely worth the price of admission and ready for your hard use defensive role (and maybe survival role) without the guilt of thrashing an expensive blade.

Hey thanks for the review!! I bought this knife off of your recommendation. Great value with this one! The only thing with this is hunting. Gutting a deer with this is pretty hard, and pheasants are next to impossible. But, then again- that's not what is was made for. Still an AWESOME knife, especially for the value!!! Thanks again for running all this stuff!

@03vetdude Stabbing tools are unitaskers, they only do one thing semi OK, that is stabbing. Not very useful.
