@Coraxuss Okay, I would not know about photography in space, but I believe people do get the idea of silence from the popular line "in space, no one can hear you scream". If only we had catchy tag lines for the rest of basic interstellar facts

Yeah, the only sci-fi space movie or series that actually took account of silence in space was 2001 A Space Odessey and Firefly. Also, I've noticed something unusual which got me thinking when I saw a Star Trek ENT episode called Rogue Planet". The fact that the NX Enterprise was shrouded in darkness when it took orbit over the rogue planet, but for all the sci-fi ships that are traveling in space when they're not in any solar system, they're well lit up by a distant sun.

POV in space....is that the best they got? What about interesting angles? I mean, now space show ever addressess that there is no up or down in the universe; have ships interact at odd angles, have extreme lighting shots when going around planets, have space debri bounce off the force feilds, show more scale shots to see the massiveness of the ship (wait they already do that), have silent explosions, have lasers that can't be followed with the human eye...the list goes on

Not bad at all. I wanna see ships going to Warp. That effect in the 79 movie "The Motion Picture' just plain sucked.
