@BoudiccaBlanc In islam we don't do interest, loans are a form of charity. Or you could also say, a form of bank deposit.
When you give money to a bank... the bank can do whatever it wants to do with that money... it can also swallow your money and go bank rupt.
But with a loan, you can choose to forgive repayment or you can have the inheritors of state pay you.
Imran is not a Sunni, a Shia, a Wahabbi, a Khaddafi, a Manafi, etc...
He is but a Muslim, just like the rest of (us).
