not everyone from el cibao talks this way.. my family is from puerto plata and they all talk quite proper. and there not all morenos my mom's side of the family is however my dad is really light skin and hes from monte cristi just saying lol

Bueno depende de la provincia o ciudad del cibao que estes hablando por que en santiago, moca, y la vega los morenos no son la mayoria.

he sounds like my grandma.. shes like 88.. sometimes i notice distinct phrases from her.. like instead of hola she says "ole".. lol imagine how different it was back then... shes from a campo called atabalero(sanfranciscodemacoris).. which i love..

@Hancy18 I am from San francisco too, i have family in many different campos. Good to see antoher macorisano here, my grandmother also has many unique words. For example she calls children Kutuco, and there are many others. The older cibaenyo dialect was pretty much its own language until recently. It should be considered its own kreyol.

No, la mujer y el hombre son de alguna parte del Cibao. Y si dise que por ser prieto no son Cibaenyo eso no e verda, si yo me crie en el cibao y ai mucho de nosotros que somo moreno, la majoria.
