just like the mbta blue line 0600's almost but sound the same and the same design except on orange and three doors

@sieman700 the blue line 0600's and these were made by the same manufacturer. nd the blues also had pantographs on top so they could use overhead caternary wires while above ground and a third rail below

Yes the 01200s are being repainted and having the pantograph mountings (which were put in for a planned extension but never used) removed. Most have also had the seats replaced. I don't know anything about intercoms though, but you're probably right

I usually see an Orange Line train or two on my way into work in the morning ad it looks like a good portion of the fleet has been repainted, and I know from riding that most if not all of the cars have had the seats repaired or replaced. It also seems that they repaired the intercoms; you can actually understand what the conductor is saying on some of the trains.

no, the conductors, the ones in the middle of the train who opens and closes the doors, and calls out stops.

I hope the Orange will get new trains like the Blue.
Orange and Red lines still have coductors? or guards?

The Red line does, not 100% sure about the orange line but I think it does
