The greatest song ever , maybe, not even the best cover of LOVE. Vocals not quiet strong enough and some new age flavor added leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Still good.

sound quality sucks on this vid, but when this song comes on i...don't know. it pulls me in. the Damned were one of the best bands. early, late stuff doesn't matter. they were up there with the Clash, Jam, etc.

Listened to all the versions (thanks to comments by youtube viewers) and have to say i like The Damned version best. This is purely because we all have different tastes and what appeals to me may not necessarily appeal to others. This version rocks for me. I think the others are great too, it's a great song after all, any good song in the right hands is do-able.
