Highlights of the Bourbon making process set to Willie Nelson's "Whiskey River" from the 1998 Kentucky Bourbon Festival in Bardstown, Kentucky. Includes footage from the Maker's Mark and Four Roses distilleries. Camera operator (actually the entire crew, director, editor, etc.) known to have consumed vast quantities of the subject matter.

I'm drowning in a whiskey river,
Bathing my mem'ried mind in the wetness of its soul.
Feeling the amber current flowin' from my mind.
And warm an empty heart you left so cold.

Whiskey River take my mind,
Don't let her mem'ry torture me.
Whiskey River don't run dry,
You're all I've got, take care of me.

  • @smokechoob Double thumbs up to that brother

  • @lveraction i don't like scotch either. my husband does though

  • @ootaylor So very true!!!! Bourbon is where it's at. Jack is worse than drinking someone else's stomach bile!!!!

  • @tranurse You are correct! Bourbon is a way of life. If it wasn't for used bourbon barrels the world wouldn't have scotch, so what does that say? :)

  • i don't like bourbon. sorry..... i do like southern comfort though. my best friend is a big maker's mark fan, and she tells me i drink crap.

  • The best value in Bourbon is the Van Winkle Family Reserve "lot b". I like a lot of bourbons, this is my fav. Good for Manhattans and, of course, sippin neat.

  • What about Dickel single barrel? That's a nice, smooth whisky.

  • great song, great footage.
