I was at this concert...It rained for most of the afternoon...The crowd was VERY ORDERLY.
Television sounded good, and, funny thing, they sounded better the farther you got away from the stage...I got sick of the crowd by about half-way through their set, and moved outside of the AUTHORIZED AREA.
This was better, as i got to smoke a joint, and sit on a park bench, listen at my leisure...Verlaine did a number of extended, improvised solos, and I was finally impressed by him...Didnt miss Lloyd..

That looks like a little marquee behind them. I hope they didn't get under it and moon the audience. I wouldn't like to see that.

this was an awesome show, they would have played for two more hours, you could really tell that after they finished MM they had plenty left in them, but the central park people were freaking out because they were running so late, which is moronic because tv were just hitting their stride, one of the greatest concert experiences ive had in my young life. television are fucking great.
