  • I grew up a huge JB fan. He was my idol. Back in 1975 the Reds were at Wrigley Field & I was trying to get his autograph along with a bunch of other kids. I was at the time bigger than my fried Tom, I was 15 he was 16. I was leaning over him with a ball for him to sign when he yelled at me and cussed me out telling me to get off the DAMN kid. I was truely crushed......Jerk

  • Sounds like a Dream gone wrong. Got to look at it as he is human and maybe he made a mistake yelling at you? He was very friendly the day of the video. Hope you got a new Idol?

  • I met Johnny on 11-19-11 and I told him I had waited 42 years to meet him and he smiled and said "Where was I?"...lol......he was nothing but NICE!!!...he inscribed ALL of my pictures even though he didn't have to!!...I have a Cincy medallion on a gold necklace and he saw it and asked if he could HAVE it!!!....lol....FINALLY got to meet one of my childhood idols and it was GREAT!!!!

  • Just about......Give me a couple more years I should be OK......

  • Why anyone would want to pay cash for the autograph of a clown who stands at the plate against the A's in a World Series and allows the pitcher to strike him out looking on a phony intentional pitch is beyond me. Talented hell yeah, dumbass motherfucker, definitely!

  • @TheJer1963 I don't know what the original Seaver comment was but I can tell you I met Seaver back in 79 while we were both leaving a Broadway show. He was "trapped" next to me in the slowly departing crowd for at least 6 minutes and despite my fawning, insisted upon redirecting this young high graduate about my life and career aspirations. As a Yankee fan, I'd hated Seaver but after that, how could you not respect the guy? To me, a real class act in a moment that offers proof of what class is!

  • @88eldiablo88 Tom Seaver has to be the biggest but you are right about Bench. Met him several times and the guy is never in a good mood.

  • Bench appears to be nice in this video (talking to the kids and ect). I guess to see this compared to meeting him in person is another story. Everyone can have a bad day I suppose.

  • i think johhny Bench should take all of his money and buy himself some manners
