Vlog: Late Night Recommendation On Video Editing Software

My late night recommendation on what video editing software to use and not to use.
After many year of using Pinnacle Studio, there has been little change in the quality of the product. Pinnacle is simply an unstable editing program to use, even after the patches have been uploaded. The program does poorly with editing HD video and crashes every 1 to 2 minutes!
I have been using Vegas Pro 8 for awhile now and love it. Vegas runs smoothly and there is no more worrying about the computer crashing! Vegas has loads of transitions, fx and more. It also edits my HD video with no problems. I highly recommend using Vegas editing software, 5 stars.

what camera do you use?

I have a Sony Handycam HDR-HC7. I've been very happy with it. The only thing is the picture gets a bit grainy if there's not enough light. So it helps to have the proper lighting for the indoor shots.

Dammit I just got pinnacle 12. Fuck I was looking for Sony Vegas pro 8 but stores just don't have it. I found one on ebay for 300 bucks, but I spent that money on Pinnacle because I had a gift card for best buy. Por que? Sorry for freaking out I'm just pissed. Is there anything good about Pinnacle 12? Or am I screwed?

Youre ok if youre not editing HD video. Maybe they have a new patch out to help fix the problem freezing problems?? But even then, the software just has problems with freezing up! One thing I like about Pinnacle 12 is it's user friendly. The interface is very easy to learn.

do you still recommend the Vegas? I like your vids, but they are all over a year old now....whats currently the best editing sofware for vlogging style vids - with nice colourful titiles different fonts - fading musicm speeding up and perhaps putting 4 images up all at one time. Your opinion ~ much appreciated, i live in London tho...?

i use Final cut pro on a mac, that's the best there is in my opinion.

On a pc i started to use sony vegas 9 but i can't work with it XD

I originaly learned to edit wit adobe premiere pro, it's okay but doens't really do what you want it do do like allt he adobe programs.

i had pannacle 10.6. im pretty darn sure it was the reason my disc drive kept "disappearing" from my computer. my drive just would not work at all, until i uninstalled the shit.
