All Kinds Of Books

A fun little song featuring a few of the books that occupy the bookshelves in my house. This is a somewhat updated version of a video featuring the same song which I posted on my old channel about three years ago and so it might seem familiar to a few of you who watched it back then.

Just a little song I wrote about books. Just as it is possible to write a book about songs, it is also possible to write a song about books. It may not be the most exciting topic, but then again who knows?

@PIKAMONjake Getting back to your infinite ways to solve a problem comment: One of the reasons that Perl fell out of favor is that it provided too many different ways to accomplish a single task. Two highly experienced programmers could both write code that solved a problem in two entirely different ways and the other guy's code would be almost unintelligible to the other programmer. Perl allows for too much flexibility and this causes confusion, at least that's the opinion of some programmers.

it helps me design programs with much more in mind to work with, theres always a way to do something

@PIKAMONjake It depends on the type of programming you're interested in. Assembly isn't very useful for most projects. C++ is appropriate for some projects, but not the best language for others. It takes excellent problem solving skills to be a programmer and sometimes a lot of creativity, but quite often many programming jobs can be rather tedious and boring. It depends on where you work and what kind of project you're working on!

@blackturtleshow you should start with assembly for what ever cpu and machine you are using, then move up to c++, you can call your self a programmer untill you have been programming for years, you have to be able to take a problem and solve it in an infinate number of ways, shits hard man

@GreatGig1 Java and Perl are the languages I use most often... not professionally, but more like a serious hobby. I find that I have so many interests that I have a hard time focusing on any single topic exclusively. Of course, knowing a little about a lot of things is good when it comes to writing fiction. You must be a programmer! If not...then you should be! I have had a few books on those languages myself...but I'm not that great at it, so...I don't "speak" the language much anymore...:-)

By the looks of your collection, you are one of those people that know a lot about a lot...along with writing a great song! Happy reading and writing!!
