Not so fast! "Asia" is also a Western concept, ostensibly less prejudicial than the "Orient". It's not that easy, since the entire world was carved up and aportioned by the Western standards. It's in our geography, and in our language, and it will be impossible to shake it off.

Please explain how this is anymore racist than any other actor putting on a false accent to drive home the authenticity of the character...its a TV add trying to make a point. If she had a real Chinese accent it wouldnt be racist? Now before you call me a racist, my wife is 1/2 Chinese, 1/2 black and she doesnt get it either. I think this is just an example of race baiting where no real racism exists.
