Tarantula freezing

here is an update vid on the euthanising of my MM B. albopilosum. i thought this would be an interesting video for some of the newer people so they could know when to euthanise your pet, and what to do with it. i out my froze my pet because he was suffering. freezing is a humane method to euthanise any pet arthropod (insects and arachnids). i am actually relieved because it seems like he did die a peaceful death. freezing is a great way to preserve it incase you don't know what to do with the pet.

Just to let you know if you do this again.. always put in fridge first then freezer. alot less painful cause they wont go into shock

my tarantula died yesterday.. it just died after a few minutes he moved.. maybe he's weak already when i checked him,,, he was a lasiodora difficilis and 7" in size a mature male.. i was really wondering why he died in fact i fed him a week ago... i did put a new water dish earlier that day when he died but when i checked later to give him a cricket.. no movements and when i tried to handle, he's already dead. too bad... what shall i do to preserve him? does freezing still apply?
