POT NOODLE SONG (TV COMMERCIAL LENGTH)

POT NOODLE SONG (TV COMMERCIAL LENGTH) I produced this to try and get the ad agency (Mother) interested and also to publish my idea to the world. Also to prove it is my idea. I re-wrote, adapted the lyrics (hopefully in a humorous way) recorded the back track, and sing the lead vocal. I also provide the backing vocals...really needs female vocals. It was intended for my wife Jayne to sing them, but she was suffering from tonsillitis at the time , and I had already sent a full presentation the the ad agency, who basically thought it a crap idea...but I know it is not! I had to get it produced quickly to give some protection by uploading on YT. Of course, they can say they have thought of the concept any time....but I HAVE RECORDED PHONE CONVERSATIONS WITH THE AGENCY AND THEIR CREATIVE DEPARTMENT AND, THE VERBAL DISCUSSIONS PROVE IT IS MY IDEA! One day they will do it, and if I don't get any recognition well, watch this space!

Thanks Mike...This was sent to Mother Advertising (London), they were not impressed! They rejected it, but I bet they make a load of money from this idea in the future. A 3D animated cartoon of this, and a Robin Scott sound alike, with tight female backing vocals...Oh well, but I bet they just do it...obviously they don't want to pay a freelance fee! Anyway, about the stuff you play on stage...have you ever thought of writing something 60's style and sneaking it into one of your sets?

Hi, I agree with you, the kids who eat this stuff would be glued to the TV, it's so catchy, it's like the good old adverts, none of this "you buy one you get one free" rubbish thats on TV now.

I put a song on YT last week, it's a bit like a Lennon tune, but I'm actually writing the lyrics to another song. Got the verses ect, I've had a melody floating around for a while, just need to put it together, then maybe I'll sneak it into the set and see what happens.
