Patrick Murphy was awarded the Bronze Star without the "V" for valor. Everyone who has ever served in the military understands that without the "V" it is awarded to NCOs and officers for brown nosing asskissers.

The term 'support our troops' is a clever usely word from some political killing machines. They will never tell you support our war or support our policies because many people wouldn't. But all of us would support the soldiers dying every day.

Murphy spent the his entire 3 month tour in the Green Zone where he represented Iraqi's who sued the US Army.
He never shot a gun while in Iraq. The closest he came to action was when he "heard" gunfire while driving back from Baghdad Airport. He radioed the noise, and was awarded some type of medal for that heroic action.
Murphy has got to stop pretending he was a combat soldier. He "john kerry'd" his way thru Iraq with the sole purpose of running for Congress when he returned home.

He got a Bronze Star for service, not a Bronze Star for valor. There's a big difference. Almost every JAG officer who served in Iraq got a Bronze Star for service.
