By request, here's the B-side of Christopher & the Chaps' 45, a fuzzed-out cover of Dylan's "It's Alright Ma, I'm Only Bleeding." To be honest I'm not sure if Mike Brown is even playing on this, but I think I hear some piano so it's quite possible. I also tacked on another of his earliest songwriting efforts, Reparata & the Delrons' "Do You Remember When." Don't expect to hear any flashes of the genius to come, but these are nice souvenirs of his beginnings in the music biz. There aren't too many pics of the man to go around, but I scrounged a few additional Stories-era photos from their 2nd LP (including one in which he's actually smiling!) and from the always-rewarding leftbanke.nu site (from whence the station ID also came--thanks Charlemagne!).
The Reparata that you're referring to that sang with Barry Manilow, is no other than one of the Delrons.. I can't think of her name but, she's the tall one with the long black hair. It's hard to believe that she could challange Mary to the name Reparata.
Cheers!

Hi Deena. Are the pics at 2:02 and 2:07 Michael? If so can you email them to me?
I saw Reparata & the Delrons in the 80's. Mary sang lead with them. There was another "Reparata" for awhile whose real name was Lorraine. She joined Barry Manilow's Lady Flash in the 70s. Both women fought legal battles over the name but Mary finally got it when Lorraine didn't bother to show in up court.
