  • Do you get any gains with the cutouts? Awesome idea having them on side pipes! Most of the ones i'v seen just dump right under the car.

Ever flipped them open on the street to scare kids in civics? lol

  • Yes, running open headers helps with throttle response. This motor is crazy to begin with, but with the dumps open, she loves to hit the rev limiter.

  • okay, that makes more sense. well, I definitely love the car. The exhaust coming out of the back of the rockers look really clean too. Very Eleanor. If I could ask, how did you achieve that on a 65 mustang? I assume that it must have been custom? or is there some kit that I've just never seen before?

  • I though i replyed to this. Yes, i had to make custom dumps. took about three days for both sides. wanted to keep them up inside the car. hate seeing stuff hanging under cars.

  • @megamarcomissing . They look good, but the 16" rim size limited the tire combination. If I were to do it again, I would make sure we ran a 15” or 17” rim. Needed more tire under the rear end. I also had them powder coated black to match the car.

  • rota rb-r rimz huh??? wow i wasnt the only person wit that idea, they look amazing! thnx for settin me a idea of what it'll look like

  • what did you do to your engine there? sounds sweet

  • I was wondering cuz i bought the DMH 2.5 and they worked awesome

  • this car we went with Race Ready Performance EC250DREV1 at summitt. for the1934 we built, Summit Racing SUM-670150

  • What brand cut outs did you go with?

  • yes, full length headers with 3" Exhaust. installed electric cutouts and hooked them to the side dumps. Very loud.
