The response to those riots would be fundamentally different in the US. If we could get our fiscal house in order and start being responsible, any rioters would be met by militia. We are not going to let you paralyze, terrorize or otherwise destroy peaceful areas of the country simply because a parasite got the cold splash of reality in their face. That is why they riot in Europe and think twice here: be cause here, there be consequences.

I live in Australia, Unions are Ruining the country. They Comprise of only a small percentage of the population yet they demand more money and special treatment then anyone else. While the private sector is cutting jobs and wages, The Public unions are demanding that they enjoy huge wages and 'job security' in an economic environment that simply cant afford it. Whittle hit the nail on the head, Public Unions live in a fantasy world where money is endless, so long as it isn't theirs.

The amount of wealth accumulated and sat on by the rich since the early 80s is equal to all the money human kind of the world had made in total up to that point. So for gods sake listen to Bill and give so that no corporation has to adhere to pollution standards and Mitt never has to eat third rate caviar and wine less then twenty years old

I hear that all the time. Why don't they just print more money? To which I ask, You really don't know what that means to the economy do you?

Unless they're printing money to replace destroyed or old worn out bills I think those particular presses should to turned off and dismantled. We, our government, needs to do what ever other normal citizen does when we find our selves in debt. They need to find work, make it more affordable for business to have jobs here instead of overseas. Pay the bills!
