Haven't really found a proper test clip of this camera using it's color settings. This one gives a very warm and punchy look without oversaturation. I fear, however, that this look only looked good at that particular location due to the color of the dirt, I haven't tested this normally for 'movie making' colors since I focused on biking cinematography, which contains lots of dirt.

Overall I give the cam a 7/10, I'll post a proper review on B&H's website, at the moment the reveiws on there aren't very insitefull.

Mini test clip shot at Wakefield VA. All color was done in-camera, no post production color correction involved, that's how I roll.

1280x720 60p, 120 shutter speed, AVCHD (.mts files) converted to DNxHD for native res editing, then exported (first slowing down the footage by exactly 40%, math: 60 x .4 = 24) 720 24p wmvHD for youtube upload wmvHD 6000mbps 192kbps audio. I purchased TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress for the .mts to DNxHD format conversion.

  • when i uploaded on my new panasonic the quality wasnt very good, how do i sort this out

  • @Rainbowlaces12

    read description

    "wmv 720 24p 6000mbps 192kbps audio"

    or

"export to youtube" from whatever program you use like imovie or FCP (I use Avid...)

    or

    "h264 - 5000kbps - 192kbps audio - keyframe every 400 frames"

  • @StuartHaight how do you do that? haha

  • @MrMx825

Your videos are uploaded correctly. You should not worry.

  • hey im a rookie and this may sound retarded but why is your video take up the whole video space and some dont? thanks man

  • @MrMx825

Because I took the time to do some tests before hand and made sure that whatever format I export out of my video editor it will display correctly on youtube's supported formats of both HD and SD resolutions.
