  • Can u ansa me this! y u needed to even use Pro tools wen u have Logic Pro and logic does it all n even more?

  • I like to use Logic Pro to compose all of my MIDI data. I feel that pro-tools is far superior for recording and editing audio, ie recording vocals, guitars, scratching etc. However, I know many people use Logic Pro for both MIDI and audio. Every DAW has its strength so why not utilize all of them if you can...

  • and just to add. many mix engineers work exclusively in pro-tools so many times you will have to give them the session in pro-tools. this is the case with this project...

  • i use steinberg cubase. i'm a beginner. what do you mean logic pro for composing? if you dont mind answering thanks.

  • I responded to ooProduction's question. let me know if this answers this for you...

  • Dope Skwint. Always interesting to see somebody who builds keys first to the kick last. I always think in the reverse.

  • thanks DannRyan. Yeah I usually start with 1 or 2 foundational ideas and then lay down the drums. hmm maybe i'll try your method...
