This song has a "Led Zeppelin" feel to it, from Warren's vocals, to Abts' powerful mastery of timing on the drums, the bass as funky with the guitar and keyboards as you can GET... I keep marveling at how TIGHT this band is!

Yes he is tuned down 1/2 (Eb standard) for most of his songs

depends on the guitar he uses. the firebirds are either tuned down or in alternate tunings, his les paul are usually in standard E.
