I loved MT USA for the music (although some regular tracks on it were appalling e.g. Desert Moon) and more importantly the clips from the streets of NYC. Fab Vinny was an excellent host. It inspired me in my mid teens (and a lot of my friends) that there was a world out there beyond the bleak and grim rural Ireland of the 80's.
