Sixteen months into construction, and the new Marlins ballpark is 47 percent complete, remains on time, on budget and continues to exceed local participation goals. The Marlins hosted a hard hat press tour Tuesday, October 26, 2010 to highlight construction progress and recent milestones. Emily Michot/Miami Herald Staff

  • hi pips

  • Screw that we earned a new stadium, let those useless Dolphins share a field with the canes.

  • @van20778 Hating faggot ass bitch

  • @jbaroluz Miami is one of the biggest port cities in the country and it is nice in Florida about 330 days of the year so they almost never get rained out.

  • Let's Go marlins

  • To bad no one goes to the games. What would have been smart is to locate the stadium in Broward. It's in between Palm Beach and Dade County. Much better accessability. Its easy to see that no one goes to see the Marlins now so to put the stadium in better location would help. Florida is not a baseball friendly state in the first place. They will have to use the stadium as a multipurpose facility to survive. The novelty of expensive food and parking will fade as fast as the team and stadium.
