this is a short film made as a promotional video for halo 3 and to get the studio's attention towards what a halo movie could look like and in turn, get the funding to make the movie

i dont get tit is it a movie or not cause if it is it will rock!!! also if it is then who will play the master cheif and y dont they just make it like game detail or just film the game as a second player or something like that.....

this is proboably a Halo Movie trailer, or some way to get some support to make it (they dont got any money to continue)

As far as we know, they haven't begun full production of the film yet because of financial problems; the studio backed-out on them. To show what a Halo movie would look like, and to tide fans over, they are releasing a series of short films, with this being the first. Even though it's disguised as an ad for Halo 3, it's meant to get studios interseted.

looks cool but i thought some of the stuff looked really obviously plastic
i hope that some of that can be made more realistic for when the actual movie comes out
