Betty Lemaster was born in Coeburn, Virginia and raised in Mansfield, Ohio. After becoming a Christian in 1980, she sensed a strong desire to write; and write she did. Songs, poetry and a story line for a book called, Ruby Mountain Valley. Three books followed with the sequel of a young couple told first by the man and then by the woman initially living in two very different parts of the country in 1888. Guest's Station, the original name for, Coeburn and the second story, unites with and is published along side the first book as is fitting for this unusual narrative of a faithful and beautiful relationship. In Princess Flats, Callie is at odds with her sister, finds that confusion and fear is consuming the good community of Guest's Station and a new man enters her life. He is intriguing and handsome, but Stephen's letters grip her heart. She has to cope with bias from a surprising source. God will have to come to her rescue; for there is no one else who can. And in Reservastions, Stephen has a lot to think about. He is supposed to be marrying the love of his life, supporting her and himself and trying to finish his theology degree. Exceptional people enter his life in extraordinary ways. Reports from Nevada interrupt his thoughts and maybe his plans. Guest's Station and the surrounding communities discover that there is a dangerous stranger in their midst. Who is he and what does he want? The books themselves share a relationship along with this historical couple in a lovely story of living one's faith from day to day and trusting God in every circumstance.
These books are available for purchase at xulonpress.com, amazon.com, Kindle, barnesandnoble.com and at local bookstores in Mansfield, Coeburn and Wise.
