Michael James hosts this weeks edition of Live from the Heartland radio brought to you by WLUW. This week we welcome Paul Loeb, Abigail Singer and Polyana Wolf. Paul is the author of Soul of a Citizen and The Impossible Will Take a Little While. Paul's focus is practical—how can ordinary citizens turn out the vote or put pressure on a key Senator to do the right thing. Abigail Singer, the Water Organizer for the Little Village Environmental Justice Organization, will join us to talk about Mayor Daleys interest in privatizing Chicagos water system. And Polyana Wolf will talk about a public meeting in support of the Rental Improvement Fund for the 49th ward. The event, "A Place to Live", is about he 49th Ward Rental Improvement Fund and the Cook County Mortgage Foreclosure Mediation Program that will take place Sunday April 18th (3-4 pm) at the Rogers Park Presbyterian Church, 7059 N. Greenview.
