I think they do an awesome job of capturing the message and feeling of the song, the message being: When all others have abandoned you, and you need a friend, you can still count on me. And this is the perfect song for S&G if you think about the course of their friendship over the years. It's been rocky, but by writing this for Art, Paul was saying that despite their troubles, he would always be there when needed
