2 15" AudioQue HDC3 15's on Term-Lab
Audiopipe 3k @ 2Ω

First Burp is 35hz.
Second is 29hz.
Third is 23hz.
Fourth is 33hz. (My Peak.)
Fifth is 34hz.
Sixth is 45hz.
Last one is some bass race practice.
Got a perfect 39.9 and decided to crank it. Forgot I had the Zune turned down. And my drivers window fell down. :(

  • @DaTwinkie405 ive got an explorer! the search to see the subs in action in an explorer actually led me to this vid. what kind of box are you running for these subs?

  • @grandam88

And also, I was PEAKING at 42, box was tuned to 39hz.

Your peak was 12hz higher than this.

  • @grandam88

    I gotcha. :)

If I were to drop that same set-up in an explorer, would have been over a 150 guaranteed.

Check the video I posted called side window issue.

Notice that bastard moves 0.5" peak to peak. Tons of air lost there, back window that leaks, fiberglass tailgate that is ripping in half, and the tear in the roof have all contributed to NOT getting a good score LoL.

Plus, my amps didn't like to stay gain matched to one another.

  • @DaTwinkie405 and i know they are alot of things to account for, i have the same issues, nothing in my vehicle is modified, as a matter a fact i have severe air leaks, i can even see outside though some spots in my car, but since i am running stock class, i am leaving those things alone

  • @DaTwinkie405 im actually referring to this comment "The last number they did before I sold them was a 149.6 @ 42hz on 6kw" im only tuned 3 hz higher than this, and doing 2.6 lower. im doing a 147 and im sure if i tried could pull a 150. and your on 6kwatts in that comment where as i am barely pulling 2. anyway i do understand it REALLY hard to pull high numbers on such a low frequency. and my current set up is actually tuned to 33hz for daily and 45 for my spl box.

  • @grandam88

Which numbers might you be referring to?

If the video, then you are ignorant to what you just said.

It peaked at 33hz. A solid 21hz LOWER than your peak.

I could have easily built a box tuned to 45hz, like yours, and popped out a number that would have crushed your 146, but I actually like to listen to music with my set-ups.

Plus, there are far too many other factors to take into effect.

Vehicle type, age, amount of glass on my truck that leaks, age of body panels and so on.

  • @DaTwinkie405 wow, thats pretty shitty considering im @ 146 with a fi btl 18 on 2000 watts tuned @ 45 hz. peaked @ 54.

  • @Exterminationz

    AWESOME!!!

  • Just hit 141.1 with a SINGLE SDC2.5 15!!!!!

  • @fifafan1

That's a very open ended question.

It was very much possible getting this set of 15's and amp to do a 150 but I don't like tuning boxes to 64hz.

The last number they did before I sold them was a 149.6 @ 42hz on 6kw.

    And a 144.4 @ 26hz. :)
