It's worth noting, hindsight 20-20 of course, that about a week after raising the debt ceiling, our credit rating dropped to AA+ for the first time in American history. SO maybe Congresssman Brooks had a point.

Sharpton knows something about debt - he was sued after the Tawana Brawley scandalous fabrication after being caught in a web of lies and he refused to pay but the debt was paid by black business leaders. It boggles the mind that NBC has sunk so low as to pay Sharpton a million a year to dispense his uneducated, sometimes racist views on television. How can they not be embarrassed by this braying lunatic?
