Pat Robertson is referring to a ceremony that so called historians said that took place during the only successful slave rebellion in 1791 in Haiti. The pact with the devil rumor was used at that time to undermine the success of the Haitian Revolution. At that time in history Slave Owning Countries were afraid that the Haitian Revolution would influence their slaves to revolt. Haiti for a long time was punished for being black and free.

But how did they know about Satan until the white man imported him? Also, if this is true, is Haiti not a massive battleground for holy warriors? Armageddon is supposed to be in the holy land, but any millitary commander will tell you that you need to remain flexible with your forces. We need to get every evangelist over to Haiti NOW! and keep them there as long as is needed battling the devil - until Haiti looks the Dominican Republic?
