  • The medicinal marijuana was the only thing that helped Joe have ANY type of appetite and was 'dry heaving' in his third story apartment in Koreatown/Mid-Wilshire five blocks or so from me. Radiation, chemotherapy and a diet of Jucy's Jamaican, fresh juices and the medicinals helped the cancer into remission. The last events he started consuming alcohol and decided only to be better not bitter when it was too late already. Better not Bitter!

  • Joe suffered prostate cancer and received approximately $16,000 per year for the rights to his songs and radio spins and was pleasantly happy. Additionally, he would LOVE to perform live shows and had a magnificent team behind him.

Gone too soon, 58 years old.

His daughter Marcia and grad daughter Marsha celebrate the Rastafari way of life.

Marsha has organized many peace gatherings hand in hand with her mother.
