@bigderekkeene You want "SOLA FIDES" proven to be an error by Scripture? Fine - easy. That means "faith alone" and refers to salvation by faith alone and not works. The only time the words "faith alone" appear in Scripture is in the sentence "man is saved by works and NOT by faith alone."

What is his right to remove the 7 books and insert the word "alone"??? you protestants/noncatholics have to get back to where the truth is, if you want to start with scripture that is fine but remember which one is the pillar and bulwark of truth?? wake up my friend.

Catholics ARE persecuted blatantly in society— at least ones who radically love Christ and the Church. And here are some thoughts for you— did you know that the basic Papacy was provably in existence by about AD 140-175? Did you know that at this same time, the sacrifice of the Mass and basic Marian doctrines were believed in?
