@ShibasHowl The human bit is just the usual fanart stuff, actually. It happens in most fandoms with non-humanoid main characters (like for example Pokemon and Digimon).

yeah yeah and there was this scene in a part of the game, real short. waka was talking to what looked liejk human form okami!!! all you saw was kimono sleeves and hands holding a magic mirror talking to waka, okami doesnt say anything, but wakas saying, amaterasu, we dont have much time!
so that made me flip out xDD

People don't think she's a girl cuz she looks like one, it's because the game often refferes to her as 'mother goddess' 'her' and 'she'. :P
