CALLER: "Hi, Rush. My husband and I went to the [Anti-Tax Tea Party] rally in D.C. And on our way home, in the Metro station, this young, liberal guy was standing next to us. And he kept looking at this sticker I had on that said 'Abortion Is Not Health Care'. And he got really angry and started arguing with me, insisting that abortion services were not going to be in any health care bill because Obama said so. And was just really adamant about it."

CALLER: "And so I finally, very calmly, I stayed very calm, and I said 'Well, if that's true, then why did the Democrats in The House vote against every amendment the Republicans tried to put in the bill that would specifically prohibit abortion services'. And he told me I was being overly paranoid."

CALLER: "And, so finally, he got just so upset, he turned away and started, I guess, doing research on his Blackberry because a few minutes later he turned around and apologized and said that I was right, that it was in The House bill, he just hadn't known that. And after that, he was very pleasant, and actually spent the rest of the time talking about basketball with my husband."

@cdmaniu This woman was not there all 8 years because G.W. is a prolifer, he has always been against abortion. Obama has professed to be pro-choice he has even endorsed partial birth abortions. So why would you go protest against abortion when your leader is already against it. Furthermore what does bombing Iraqis have to do with this protest. The govt. is not obligated to PROVIDE you with halthcare anyway. That's your job.

Libs are coming around slowly. The problem is that many of them don't care, they are still saying he's better than Bush. I got into it yesterday with someone about the 9-11 bill that just failed to go through. The person said "Even if Dems are just doing this to look good for the election coming up so what at least they're doing something"... Ugh

Where was this women all 8 years abortions were legal under G.W. Bush. Oh that's right because a republican was the president. No tea partiers out protesting then? Oh thats right because we were using billions to bomb and kill Iraqis instead of giving healthcare to our children. So it's ok.
