  • LOVE THE DOOBIES! Cool sounding amp, but what I really want to know is what kind of shampoo does Kevin Michael use?

  • Oh my god, I just ordered it! It has been about 2 hours since I did and I'm already getting impatient! I'm so excited! I NEED THIS NOW!

  • This clean sound made my ears bleed. I have to try the amp in person.

  • Not gonna lie guys, I checked one of these out with my prs singlecut 245 and was floored with the tone...... Credit, carvin has some good axes as well, I just prefer my prs. Anyways I really dig old randy Rhoads, or Vivian Campbell stuff (back when he was with dio on holy diver) and man this amp just let me open up so many doors. It really allows your guitar to breathe. Very true to the instrument plugged in. Everything from blues to metal and plenty of gain to boot. I don't thing I ever cranke

  • @lampguy9400 No prob ... I guess if you like it rock on... Like EVH says "if it sounds good, it is good!" Just every engineer / FOH guy I ever knew r saw would not do it, And I would get "yelled" at ...move that &^%$# mic! :)

  • @teleboytwo Mic placement is pretty subjective, and varies from dead centre to right at the edge. The centre does contribute to fizzy high end, but it's not "wrong".

  • ok is the mic in the center of the cone? not good mic technique if so..should be at in from the edge of the VC... that may be the fizz u hear.. hard to believe they got that wrong.

  • Carvin has come a long way! I remember seeing their catalogs throughout the 80's and 90's and always thought their products were lacking in design. The V3 & M series and most of their guitars now are really appealing. I live only a few miles from the factory. Think I'm gonna check them out again!
