Oddities Station, HAARP, July 24, 2011, 0818 UTC, 2750 kHz

A HAARP transmission received at my location in the Mojave Desert on July 24, 2011, at about 0818 UTC. The center frequency is 2750 kHz, but as can be seen the bandwidth is very large.

This being HAARP was confirmed by consulting the HAARP web site Waterfall Spectrum display, you can clearly see whenever HAARP energizes on that display.

what's happening at 2.722 - 2.724 MHz?

@icannotfly That signal (2722 kHz USB) would be a digital modem, in this case STANAG 4285.

@icannotfly No, that S4285 singal is not part of the HAARP transmission, it is just on a frequency near what they were using this day. S4285 is a common digital military mode found throughout the HF range. It is not uncommon on HF to have multiple signals from different sources near or even on top of each other.
