This is an old Tv Spot for Murphy's Irish Stout. This commercial/advert was taped from channel 4, (England), around 1998/1999 on VHS PAL.... Sorry for the quality loss in the transfer, was best I could do with the old tape.

according to the imdb this was made by Mamoru Oshii, maker of the Patlabor and Ghost in the Shell movies, allegedly(Imdb often wrong!). This was known as the Murphy's Irish Stout "Last Orders" spot or the Samurai and beer spot!

this commercial is great. im sure its a rare find too. I love Production I.G.s stuff, thanks for sharing and helping to document and preserve great tidbits in animation history.

better quality is always better, but this quality is plenty good in my mind, compared to nothing.
