maybe somone should report to Valve, maybe they can fix the problem. An update that doesnt mess with the default sounds given to GarrysMod.

@KLONIME1001 i just went through my addons and deleted anything that could have an explosive sound file. im going to try it out and let you know

If you have nuke pack 4, there is a fix for it.

Nuke pack V4 is know to cause this problem.

i have this problem, after i downloaded the photon gun addon, i think , not sure if thats the problem. its only with my rocket launcher though, not my grenades

i got the same problem with gmod 11
gmod 10 the sounds are just fine but gmod 11 is just crap sound

Just a quick addition. A good idea is to delete any addons involving violence (guns, rockets, nukes) and see what happens. I also tried this but it didn't do anything becuase my problem was the 'Drunked Master' rocket launcher. But once you delete all your addons involving violence, maybe even the gore sounds (who needs different gore sounds anyway?) and it should return to normal. After you find out what was causing the problem, download your other addons back. Hope this helps!

I did change the gore sounds back.. But really, the Hl2 gore sounds are cheesey as hell. I'm likely to change them again after I fix the explosions.
