In 2008, the people of this New China, until now shrouded in anonymity and dull statistics about "1.3 billion people", and almost wholly unknown to Americans, will be brought to brilliant life by Bright Media, a Hong Kong based production company.

A stream of stylish, entertaining, and highly original content -- a long- and short-form kaleidoscope of fresh and vivid stories from inside the New China -- created for release on all platforms in the year of the Beijing Olympics.

This unique unprecedented media event will create a portfolio of fast-moving stories designed for distribution on broadcast and cable TV screens, on in flight entertainment systems, on closed-circuit networks in hotels and conference centers, as well as for down-loading onto iPod screens, mobile phones, laptops and into the classrooms of the world, via the Internet.

Anchored and reported by 22-year old MTV star Eames Yates, Jr., directed by the stylish and highly original team of John Kirby and Libby Handros, and written by the Oscar-winning former executive producer of the David Frost Show and BBC bureau chief, Peter Foges, this is content of the highest quality. It will be purposed and re-purposed so as to across boundaries, capturing both the upscale high net-worth decision makers of the world -- and the fickle young.

This show includes footage and discussions with legends like Mike Wallace, Jet Li, Lin Chi-Ling, Diane von Furstenberg, Yue-Sai Kan, Bob Kerry, and many more.

  • 'Everyone has already have human rights in China as long as you dont touch politics'. Well, I can understand why. Not business people wants business deal with political instability. For this reason, China has to develope its economy first to the point everyone has economy freedom before asking for political freedom. Until you have sufficient economy freedom, political freedom is just an empty word. For people who impose political freedom before economic freedom is nothing but evil intention.

  • You should go counry side them you will know truth.

  • looks fun! can't wait to see the complete series. can we watch it in HK?
