As a Rangers fan, I can tell you we loved Gartner. Probably the same way the Leafs loved Anderson. Even though Anderson won the cup with us, I consider Gartner more of a true Ranger. And I'm sure you feel the same about Anderson and the Leafs. However both players helped their new respective teams back in the '94 playoffs.

To this day, I'm still not sure what to make of the Anderson for Gartner trade with NY.

Sure Gartner ended up scoring some goals for the Leafs, but Anderson was a great clutch performer.
