  • I listen to The Hours soundtrack when studying or writing papers. Philip Glass captured Virginia Woolf and her story quite beautifully....

    I think it's this scene:

  • This makes everything beautiful.

  • what scene was this song played in?

  • Virginia Woolf was amazing. Her life was difficult and sad, she had to live with it. Beautiful but scary.

  • The beginning is beautiful, with the bell.

  • is too late ( 2:20 am) and I wake up early but I can not hear this amazing melody.

  • Virginia: "Say something Nessa! Didn't you think I seemed better?"

    --

Virginia: "Do you think I may one day escape?"

    Vanessa: "One day..."

    Virginia: "Nessa......"

    --

Such a heartbreaking scene. </3 I felt so bad for Virginia at this part...People misinterpret the love she has for Nessa. I think she just really missed her sister. And I read somewhere that Nicole Kidman said in an interview that she thought Virginia was trying to take some of the happiness Nessa had within and put it in herself.♥
