  • @TheFineArtsReview1 yes, the contrast is brilliant, good timbre in instrument achieved. Imagine this played at the time in a spring valley or county side - very nice.

  • The "compound lines" used in the Baroque - and later - when writing for solo or solo + b.c. instrument were pretty standard, though.
