The CofC {Not all of them} mostly NOW try to disassociate themselves from nr. Campblell But the Tennessee CofC writer and pastor who helps publish the "Sword of the Spirit magazine says that Campbell RESTORED the CofC when it had gone apostate.
All CULTS seem to do this disassociation with founders, like the Jehovah's Witnesses {who got many doctrines from Cambell of the Cof C } The Mormons with Brigham Young, Not Joseph Smith, although BOTH had Plural WIVES, which is why the reorganized did it

According to the history of the CofC founder Alexander Campbell...He only had ONE h2o baptism..and that was by emmersion by a Baptist Preacher in 1812 ,...20 years before their doctrine of salvation by H2o baptism came along. So according to their own doctrine on Baptism their mentor Mr. Campbell was LOST when he died. Not according to me or Biblical Christian beliefs BUT according to CofC Campbell died in his sins, having NOT been baptized in the CofC way, of so-called "Touching the Blood".

The NASB is the most "literal" or "formal" translation meaning that it is more "word for word" than other translations. A "formal" translation is best for deep Theological discussions especially when studying the Greek or Hebrew behind the English text.
The KJV is also a "formal" translation however the 400 year old English used frequently means something completely different in modern English than what it meant in 1611 and what the original languages meant.

Because the KJV has kept the Church of Christ ignorant for over 150 years - Now NO English version can bring them out of the cult.

My bad that is the NASB Version.
Why would Dr. Morey, a man who uses greek greek grammer so profusely subscribe to the NASB and not the KJV?
