What other politician would gather in a small crowd like that, and stand on a small rickety ass crate, with a don't tread flag wraped at his feet?

I know what you mean sir, I know what you mean. Sometimes we all wonder if
that is the only way. But as long as there is the opportunity to take
back this land peacefully, as gradually as they stole it I think that
is the best route to take now.

And anyway, I don't think they're dumb enough to try a stunt like the grievous act you mentioned. That would indeed make him a martyr. That would energize the movement, make thousands of people very passionately angry, and most of all cause all sorts of people to look very seriously at what he had to say.
We will all live as long as we are meant to live, including Ron Paul.
